The Fair Housing Project will be conducting a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Live Webinar on fair housing and assistance and service animals
Wednesday, April 8, 2020
12:00 PM – 1:30 p.m
1.5 hours general CLE credit (pending NC State Bar approval)
The training will cover federal and state law regarding the rights of people with disabilities to have assistance and/or service animals in housing, including provisions under the federal Fair Housing Act, the North Carolina State Fair Housing Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Rehabilitation Act. In addition, HUD’s 2020 guidance on this subject will also be reviewed.
